Eelex 8000: The fully electric Eelex 8000 has a length of 8 metres, a width of 2.50 metres and a draft of 0.80 metres. This high-performance tender is equipped with a powerful 225 kW electric motor and can reach a speed of 65 km/h.
Sustainability is a top priority for X Shore, the Swedish boat manufacturer that both designs and produces the Eelex 8000. In addition to electric propulsion, the boat also distinguishes itself with sustainably used materials in its design; the deck and gunwale of the Eelex 8000 are made of cork.
The modular design of the Eelex 8000 is certainly a highlight. The tender has an aluminium rail system to which interior modules can be attached. In this way, a table and a bench can be added or removed as desired. In this way, the Eelex offers a matching interior for every occasion with the comfort you seek.

Full jury report: The electricfication of motorboats is a highly relevant topic. Not just because of the climate, but also because the impact of motorboats with electric motors on animals living in the water is much smaller than with conventional combustion engines. The »Eelex 8000 2021« from the Swedish technology company X-Shore is an impressive example of what sustainability can look like in this area. Just looking at the exceptional design of the boat it becomes apparent that outdated customs were radically removed. Instead, the company has focused on functionality and smart and networked technology, in the form of its own mobile phone and smartwatch app, among other things, which unlocks and switches on the boat when within range. Other meaningful features include intelligent overboard detection, geofencing software and autopilot.
